Summertime sounds and Easter eggstravagance!

Firstly a big thank you to all of you that made it down to Buddha Beach over the Easter weekend. It was great to see so many familiar faces and meet new friends, and we’re sure that with the packed agenda of events coming up over next few months, summer 2010 is going to be the best so far. We’ll being you more details about the World Cup events and Summer Opening Party soon. We’ve also confirmed the lineup of acts due to appear at Buddha Beach over the summer.
The music starts on July 17 when 80s chart toppers Imagination famed for their hits “Just an Illusion”, “Bodytalk” and “Flashback” play. Fronted by the flamboyant Leee John, it promises to be a night to remember.
Imagination are followed by legendary R and B group The Drifters, whose songs include classics such as “Under the Boardwalk” and “Saturday Night at the Movies” . They may have had their first hit in the 50s, but these guys still put on a hell of a show!
Buddha Beach hosts a more relaxed three days of music and live performance with a Spanish feel, featuring the worldwide stars Gipsy Kings, whose hits include “Bamboleo”, “Volare” and “Djobi Djob”.
Final act this summer will be Soul Gwen Dickey, the legendary voice of 70s soul sensation Rose Royce’s biggest hits including “Car Wash”, “Love don’t live here Anymore” and “Wishing on a Star” for one night only
There are a variety of ticket prices and packages available, contact Buddha Beach for further details. There will also be a number of dining options for the show, including Buddha Beach’s famed Buffet. All the acts will be performing at Buddha Beach this summer with full backing bands with shows lasting at least 75 minutes
